DMSS (Dahua Mobile Security Surveillance) is a mobile surveillance app created by Hangzhou CE-soft Technology Co., Ltd with functions such as remote monitoring, video playback, push notifications, device initialization, and remote configuration. Devices such as NVRs and doorbells  can be added.
You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
You may also see "DMSS HD" in your App store, this is for larger screen formats such as tablets and iPads.

Compatible with Dahua CCTV Systems.

CCTV (NVR) Setup on the DMSS App

Install the app.

Press the "DMSS" icon on your device to launch it. 

DMSS requires you to create a login so do so using your phone number or email address. This process will bind your CCTV to your login allowing you to share access if needed but locking anyone else from accessing it without your knowledge.

Press + in the circle on the top right of the Home Page to add a new site.

​Choose [-] SN/Scan.

​If asked - allow the app to access your camera.

Using your camera point at the QR Code of your device. This can be found a screen or browser connected to the CCTV system at the top right of the screen you'll find a QR icon or in P2P in the "Network" menu setting section.

If you do not have this but you have the serial number (at the bottom of this screen) press "Manually Enter SN".

Enter the Serial number and press "Next".​
On the next screen select "NVR" from the list of devices.
Add the details for your device.

"Device Name" is only for your reference, in most cases "Home" or "Work" is fine for this. It is there to differentiate sites if you have multiple CCTV setups or locations.

Username is usually "admin" this is the default. It can be changed but in most cases "admin" is fine so leave this as it is.

Enter your Password and press "Save".
The Device Name you entered will now show in your list of sites on your "Home" page of the App.

Access your cameras by pressing the "Play" icon in the circle.

If you get lost in the App or cannot find what you need, press the "Home" icon on the bottom left of the App.
