- DAS - Hills ComNav module - User Manual (Dec 2021)
The Hills ComNav is a device that connects your Hills Reliance alarm system to your internet router and with the use of a free smartphone application (UltraSync+ Apple Store or Google Play Store Formerly - Ultra connect: on Apple or Google) your alarm system can not only be programmed to send push notifications or email direct to your smartphone in the event of alarm activation or other event, but also allows you to arm, disarm and interrogate your alarm system live from anywhere you have a mobile internet signal. With the right cabling and configuration you can even open electric locks, gates or garage doors via the Ultra connect application. - GPRS unit
A GPRS unit is designed to report directly to a Central Monitoring Station via the mobile data network. The GPRS unit is the preferred option for back to base monitoring because of the reliability of data transmission over DTMF tones on the mobile network and the inability for potential thieves to cut the phone line. - GSM module
A GSM module is essentially a phone line replacement. It is a device that uses a SIM card and operates via the mobile 3G-4G network. If you get a 3G or 4G mobile signal, a GSM module can work for you. The GSM module is capable of dialing either a Central Monitoring Station or direct to mobile or other phone numbers.
